10 Bollywood Star Kids Who Chose Alternate Careers & Became Successful

When it comes to Bollywood it is always expected from a star kid that they are gonna follow their parent’s field of career. By being an actor and excelling in the same field. Some star kids do choose a different path and kinda shock the audience regarding their decision.

Some of the star kids who did not choose acting as their career choice are:

1. Trishala Dutt

Trishala is the daughter of the famous actor, Sanjay Dutt. Coming from a background of acting she did not choose that. Rather she went for something completely off-bit by choosing law. She is a criminal lawyer and an entrepreneur. Currently, she is the founder of DreamTresses Hair Extensions.

2. Krishna Shroff

Though her brother Tiger is very much of an on-screen person, she isn’t. Krishna stayed back in the entertainment field, she is mostly behind the screens of the films and is rather happy with being the director of the same. She worked as an assistant director for the film, Munna Micheal, where Tiger played the lead role.

3. Sakshi Khanna

Sakshi Khanna is the son of the late Vinod Khanna. Though he did not pursue acting as his career, he chose to stay in the field of entertainment. He currently owns a production house in partnership with his two friends. The name of the production house he runs is Jugaad Motion Pictures.

4. Jhanvi Mehta

Jhanvi Mehta is the daughter of popular Bollywood actress, Juhi Chawla and she is a 20-year-old college student. And it has come to notice that she has no interest in pursuing or continuing in Bollywood. Rather she has admitted that she likes to write and she would want to continue as a writer in the near future.

5. Ira Khan

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan has always been under the media spotlight because of her parents. But she was asked about what she wanted to pursue career-wise, she expressed that she is not into acting. But she is not into acting much, but she did want to pursue her career in film direction.

Allegedly she did start her journey with the same by making and directing her first film under the production house name Euripides’ Medea.

6. Rohit Dhawan

Varun’s elder brother and the son of David Dhawan when asked about his career choice expressed that he has no interest in acting. He is more into screenwriting and direction. He already has directed two films, namely, Desi Boyz and Dishoom.

7. Anshula Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Boney Kapoor’s daughter is a college graduate. Her career choice was nowhere near the entertainment industry. She worked with Google in the advertisement line. After that, she worked for Hrithik Roshan’s sports brand. Now she has her own fundraising platform, Fankind.

8. Shaheen Bhatt

Alia’s sister has always been a camera-shy person. She is much more into screenplay and direction. Her portfolio has a lot of good films where she worked namely, Jism 2, Son of Sardaar, Raaz 3. Her main interest was in writing, she took it up seriously and recently launched her own book.

9. Masaba Gupta

Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards’ daughter Masaba is perhaps one of the top-notch names in the fashion industry of India. She’s so good at what she does that she was also invited to several international red carpet events.

10. Rhea Kapoor

Anil Kapoor’s daughter is an entrepreneur. She produces films and also is a designer. Where she designed looks for Sonam. She produced films like Aisha, Khoobsurat, and Veere Di Wedding. Rhra owns a fashion brand Rheason.
