However, Shoaib Malik unexpectedly put a full stop to this speculation by revealing that he got married for the third time, this time to Pakistani actress Sana Javed.

Notably, her father said that Sania had given unilateral divorce through “khula,” as permitted by Islamic law, to Shoaib Malik. Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed got married last week in Karachi. This marks Shoaib Malik’s third marriage and Sana Javed’s second. Among many wishes, Shahid Afridi’s congratulations gained the most attention.

Shahid Afridi, the former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, wished Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed a happy wedding on Tuesday. While speaking to the media, Shahid Afridi playfully wishes Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed a happy married life, saying,

“Shoaib Malik ko bohot bohot Mubarak baat. Allah talah usko isi life partner ke saath saari zindagi khush rakhe. (Congratulations to Shoaib Malik. May Allah keep him happy with this life partner for the entire life.)”

The video soon went viral, with many questioning whether Shahid was giving congratulations or an admonition.

Malik’s third marriage has  drawing criticism from fans and his own family.

Notably, the sister of the former cricketer revealed that none of his family members were present at the wedding. According to reports, Sania Mirza’s displeasure with Malik’s purported extramarital relationships played a role in their divorce.

Prior to his well-publicized union with Sania Mirza in 2010, Shoaib Malik had already divorced Ayesha Siddiqui. After marriage, Shoaib and Sania shifted to Dubai and the couple was blessed with a son named Izhaan Malik Mirza.

But in 2022, rumors about the split surfaced following Malik’s picture shoot with Pakistani beauty Ayesha Umar. However, as we all know now the real trouble turned out to be the actress Sana Javed. Meanwhile, Sana Javed, before marrying Shoaib Malik had previously been married to musician Umair Jaswal. However, the couple got divorced in 2023 after three years of marriage.
