Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge took the country by storm as she announced her engagement with Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan on social media. The actress is best known for her stint in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De India. On-screen she portrayed the role of a hockey player but off-screen too Sagarika is a national level hockey player. This was also the reason why she was chosen for the film. Sagarika belongs to a royal family and is the daughter of Vijendra Ghatge who himself is an actor and is a member of the Royal family of Kagal.
On the work front, she was part of many films like Fox, Miley Naa Miley Hum, Rush and Jee Bhar Ke Jee Lee. She was last seen in a lead role in Iraada. Sagarika also participated in the sixth season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. This light-eyed actress has always been a Daddy’s girl. Her father was strict on not letting her joining the glamour world until she completes her graduation. She honoured her father’s wishes and pursued her dreams only after completing her studies. Sagarika got married to Zaheer Khan in 2017.
