Richa Chadha & Ali Fazal Love Story: Worked Together, Fell In Love & Got Married

As the wedding season has started, there are speculations that a very popular couple is also set to take wedding vows. Yes, we are talking about Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha. Both the stars met on the sets of Fukrey and fell in love. After keeping their relationship under wraps for some time, they finally announced it on social media. Their lovey-dovey pictures on Instagram make us believe that love is indeed a very beautiful thing. Today, we are going to tell you about their love story.

Jab they met

In 2013, both the stars worked together in Fukrey. They came close and become good friends. Later, they started dating in 2016. The couple made their relationship official in 2017 when Richa attended the Venice Film Festival with Ali for the premiere of his Hollywood movie Victoria and Abdul. Their pictures went viral in no time and people came to know that there was a new couple in town.

Beginning of their love story

Talking about how they fell in love, Richa said,

“The thing is, it’s nothing short of a miracle. That two-person who has many similar backgrounds, two simple, regular, normal people came from middle-class got together.”

She further added,

“Two-person with a similar value system got in this pool of showbiz. They found each other and are happy with each other. I think that itself is a great miracle. And when that happened, I think I couldn’t deny it that we were very much…not just attracted to each other, but also understood each other feelings on a fundamental level. It’s great you know.”

After Richa and Ali made their relationship official, they were spotted at many events and award shows.

Marriage

The couple were set to register the marriage in the last week of April 2020. The spokesperson of the two actors told a leading daily,

“Currently, only the date for the registration has been taken. As per process, a three-month window is valid [for the wedding to take place] from the date that has been allotted. The couple is working towards an official registration in the last week of April, post which the celebrations will follow. All we can say is that it’s a happy occasion, and all the parties involved are elated.”

However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they decided to postpone the wedding. It was said that they planned to get married in Delhi which is on lockdown and some of their relatives had to come from the US and Europe.

The spokesperson confirmed saying,

“Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families, and well-wishers to be affected.”
