When Ranbir Kapoor Confessed About Cheating On Deepika Padukone & Talked About His Break Up

Deepika Padukone’s rage towards Ranbir Kapoor was so clear that she went on to publicly criticise him on multiple occasions. Her separation from Ranbir Kapoor is said to have caused her mental damage.

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has acknowledged cheating in past relationships several times. Ranbir later spoke candidly about the breakup in an interview with Stardust magazine.

According to IB Times, he stated,

“Yes, I have cheated, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realise it now, when you grow up and you value it more, why be in a relationship, why be committed to someone when you cannot be committed?”

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone reunited for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani years later. The on-screen chemistry worked wonders for the film, which went on to become a box office hit. For Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, the duo reunited once more. They have been good friends since then.

Ranbir Kapoor is now dating Alia Bhatt, with whom he will next be seen in Brahmastra. Deepika Padukone is blissfully married to Ranveer Singh, her Bajirao Mastani co-star.
