There are many legally prohibited things in India, and the list seems to be never-ending. But while everyone is focusing on this, we fail to notice that certain items of our everyday use are absolutely banned in other countries.
Here is a list of things that are banned and considered hazardous in other countries.

1. Jelly Sweets
These are absolutely banned in the USA, Canada and Australia. They seem to possess a threat of choking in children, and there have been cases about the same. But, they are easily available in India.
2. Lifebuoy Soap
These soaps are regarded as hazardous for the skin, and it is only used abroad to bathe few specific animals. However, It is widely sold and easily available in India for humans.
3. Pesticides
In total there are about 60 pesticides that are clearly prohibited and banned abroad but are openly sold in India. The chemical while reacting with the plants is harmful to the body, leading to various side effects later.
4. Red Bull
It is officially restricted in France and Denmark, and in Lithuania for people under 18 years of age, it is completely prohibited. The side effects of this drink include heart problems, depression, hypertension and convulsions.

5. Disprin
In India, quite a few of the medically and legally hazardous drugs are sold, and almost all of us lap them up. These hazardous drugs include Disprin as well, which is very commonly used in our households.
6. Unpasteurised Milk
Because it containing dangerous microbes and germs, it is legally prohibited in the USA and Canada. Unpasteurised milk has serious side effects but is openly sold in our country.
7. Nimulid
Nimulid, which is a pain killer is officially prohibited in the USA, Australia, Canada and Britain and a host of other countries due to the serious threat it possessed to the body liver. It’s easily available in India.
8. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800
Due to its inability to comply with safety tests and guidelines, this car is legally prohibited in many countries but is quite popular in India.
9. D-Cold Total
Here comes one more to the list of medicines that is banned elsewhere but popular in India, D-Cold can probably cause kidney issues.
10. Samosas
It is legally prohibited in Somalia, and all credit goes to Jihadist te##orist group Al-Shabaab. These samosa haters applied the ban in their control by asserting that the food was probably “too Christian”.

11. Tata Nano
It failed to stand up to the independent crash test organised by Global NCAP. This clearly implies that the person in the car would place his life at risk. It is legally prohibited in other countries, but available here.
12. Kinder Chocolate
The toy that is placed inside the Kinderjoy is officially banned in America. The toy can supposedly result in a choking hazard.
13. Vicks Vaporub
One of the most popular ointment on India to get relief from cold, cough and congestion. However, Vicks Vaporub is banned in North American and many European countries. According to reports, there is an element in the product which has side effects.
