Mumbai Police savage reply

Mumbai Police had barred the booking of banquet halls, party clubs, boats, etc for the parties on December 31st night. Large gatherings at Marine Drive, Gateway of India and other places was also banned.

In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic and the night curfew put during New Year’s eve in Mumbai, the Mumbai Police’s social media team came up with some quirky tweets and reply on Twitter.

On 31 December 2020, Mumbai police advised Mumbaikars to stay home on New Year’s Eve during the night curfew as a COVID-19 precaution. All this was done to maintain social distancing norms.

The tweet got a lot of retweets, replies and funny comments on the post. People appreciated the wit in the post and some asked some hilarious questions in regard to the post.

One particular guy tried to play along with Mumbai Police and asked:

“What if I reach her place by 11 PM and stay there overnight?”
