Renowned Bollywood vocalist Krishnakumar Kunnath, often known as KK, died in Kolkata on Tuesday night after singing at a performance. When he died, he was just 53 years old. He was undoubtedly one of India’s top vocalists, with a career spanning Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, and Gujarati entertainment sectors.
Many stories claim that he died of a potential sudden heart attack, but others claim that he was not feeling well even during the concert’s intermission due to poor air conditioning at the venue, which caused him to sweat a lot.

KK was born on August 23, 1968, into a Malayali household. He’d always been drawn to melodies since he was a youngster. Before making his Bollywood debut, he sang over 3,500 jingles. He has also performed for the Indian cricket team, singing Josh of India.
In 1999, he became an overnight sensation after singing the song Tadap-Tadap for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s blockbuster Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He sang a lot of great songs from then until his death.

KK, a veteran vocalist, led a rather ordinary existence. He did not consume any intoxicants, including cigarettes or alcohol. Though he used to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, his love life is quite story-worthy.

In an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, KK revealed that he is hitched to his childhood sweetheart. He said on the show that he took a sales job because he was unemployed and wanted to marry her. KK put in three months of work before moving on to pursue his dream of becoming a vocalist. On the show, he also revealed that he has only ever dated one lady, and that is Jyothy Krishna.

Not only was KK a great performer, but he was also a devoted spouse. He married Jyoti Lakshmi Krishna, a long-time friend in 1991. They have two children named Nakul and Tamara. Jyothy is an artist by profession.
How did his wife help him in his career?
In an interview, KK said that it was his wife who relocated him from Delhi to Mumbai and transformed him from a jingle artist to a singer. In a 2013 interview, KK stated that he was playing it safe by doing jingles, producing jingles, doing ads, and other such things. But being there was all he could do, and he was heading for a dead end.
KK went on to say that his wife Jyoti was the driving force behind his journey to Bombay and that she made decisions for him that he would not have made on his own. She assisted him in getting out of a difficult circumstance, and she continues to do so now, and it has worked out well for him.
