The first season of Shark Tank India showcased some memorable contestants whose dreams managed to strike a chord with viewers. One of the favourites among them was definitely Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare. His zeal and passion definitely left a mark on the sharks. Everyone who has watched Shark Tank India Season 1 must definitely remember the pitch by entrepreneurs who fondly came to be known as Jugaadu Kamlesh. Their pitch got labeled as the ‘pitch of the season’ in the first season.

Peyush Bansal, the CEO of the famous eyewear brand Lenskart, had invested in Kamlesh’s product last season. Kamlesh had pitched his own invention, a multi-functional cart, that would immensely help farmers in sowing, ploughing, and watering their fields. The cart really left an impression on Peyush and he almost instantly invested Rs 10 lakh for  40% equity and also provided him with an interest-free loan of Rs 20 lakhs.

In March 2022, Bansal shared an update on Kamlesh’s cart and shared their biggest concerns at the time

He said,

“Biggest concerns are: weight of Cart, movement on different uneven terrains and width of cart (as alley size is small in certain crops). Next steps: Find creative solutions to these problems, do design optimisations and go back and test again”

He shared his concerns on Instagram and it looks like they have solved a lot of those problems.
