IIT has always been the big shot for people, especially ambitious ones. But we very well know that not everyone is eligible to get into college. So some people join IIM and create history mark their spots in the market ad playoff really well. Peyush Bansal, the man behind the Indian eyeglasses firm Lenskart, is now well-known largely attributable to Shark Tank India.

The corporation was established by the IIM-Bengaluru alumni in 2010, and after five years, he discontinued all of his other businesses to dwell on Lenskart. The Indian Institutes of Management, or IIM, is the top choice for eligible candidates who want to be high achievers in the coming decades.

The following are among some of the noteworthy IIM–Bangalore graduates who launched some of India’s most well-known companies:

1. Anjan Mukherjee – Taraltec Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Taraltec’s final product, the Taraltec Reactor, is the idea of Anjan and Piyul Mukherjee which disinfects groundwater from underground well-dug wells and powered water systems. It helps in eradicating water-borne infections like diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid.

Anjan formerly worked for firms such as HyCa Technologies and Proact Research & Consultancy.

2. Vipul Parekh – Bigbasket

Parekh is a graduate of IIM Bangalore. He was a financial partner at Peepul Capital, a major venture capital firm, before he started Bigbasket. He was also a founding member of Fabmall. The company, Big Basket was founded in the year 2011 and it has been doing some pretty good business since then.

3. Sahil Barua – Delhivery

Sahil Barua is co-founder and CEO Delhivery’s. Previously he has worked for Bain & Company in the field of consultancy. Mr. Barua earned a bachelor’s Mechanical Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in Karnataka.

He left a well-paying position at Bain & Co. to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. In the year 2011, he founded the e-commerce transportation services business.

4. Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivasta – Urban Ladder

Ashish and Rajiv purchased new flats adjacent to each other and had the worst furniture shopping experience of their lives.

In 2012, Ashish and Rajiv Srivasta, both IIM-B graduates, co-founded Urban Ladder. The Bengaluru-based start-up is a multichannel company that sells furniture and household decoratives.

5. Souvik Sengupta – Infra.Market

Souvik Sengupta is a co-founder of Infra.Market, an e-commerce platform for housing and building products. The company was founded with the goal of revolutionizing the way residential and commercial construction businesses obtain materials.

6. Karan Bajaj – WhiteHat Jr

He established the virtual learning portal WhiteHat Jr. with the goal of creating youngsters digital thinkers. Students learn to code through one-on-one instructional videos with teachers at the Mumbai-based edu-tech business.

7. Saumil Majmudar – EduSports

Majmudar is the Co-founder, CEO, and MD of EduSports – India’s first and largest school sports enterprise. Saumil is also the Founder-Director of SportzVillage. Sportz Village was founded back in the year 2003 with the goal of enhancing children’s health and fitness.

8. Amarendra Sahu – Nestaway

Nestaway was created by Amarendra Sahu, Deepak Dhar, Jitendra Jagadev, and Smruti Parida. The Bengaluru-based firm, which was founded in 2015, was created as a response to the inflexible property leasing market.

9. Peyush Bansal- Lenskart

The Shark Tank India judge Peyush Bansal, did the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses (MPEFB) at IIMB, launched his business, Lenskart, in 2010. Before starting Lenskart Peyush tried multiple e-commerce websites like JewelsKart, Bagskart, Watchkart.
