Guddi Maruti Reveals Secrets Of ’90s Celebrity Affairs, Shares Surprising Details On Akshay Kumar & Govinda

Recently, Guddi Maruti opened up about off-screen romance in Hindi cinema during the 90’s. She talked about the dating culture and the romantic affairs going on during that time. Guddi also shared some insider information about actors Govinda and Akshay Kumar’s behavior with the women back then.

Guddi spilled the beans that actors and actresses often used to date each other secretly in the ’90s

According to Guddi Maruti, dating among actors was extremely common back in the 90s. However, they made sure to keep things out of sight. Only when they appeared on set during a shoot, people found out about them, as they would sneak into each other’s rooms at night. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she mentioned,

“Actors used to keep their relationships very discreet during that time. We would often learn who was seeing whom during these shoots, as they would sneak off to each other’s rooms. Acha, raat ko ye ho raha that.”

Guddi also revealed that the actors often used to approach her and complain about the other actresses’ protective mothers restricting their moments together by arriving on set. She said:

“Actors would come and complain to me that the actress’ mother was accompanying her and hindering their romance. ‘Roz uthke aajate hai set pe,’ they would tell me. I would respond that the mother was accompanying the heroine because of them. Beti “Who is saving that?”

Guddi Maruti reveals that among the Bollywood heroes, Govinda was the innocent one

While discussing with Siddharth, Guddi revealed that Govinda was different from the other heroes when it came to flirting with actresses. She said that everyone else was ‘chalu,’ (cunning), but Govinda was the one who would often get teased about his innocence. According to her, Govinda was very shy and used to be too engrossed in his work.

Speaking about him, she said:

“All the heroes were chalu but not Govinda. He used to stay so busy in his work. We would say, ‘Chi Chi, even if a girl walks in front of you in a bikini, you wouldn’t notice her. You would only notice her smile and nothing else.’ He was genuinely engrossed in his work. Even if an actress tried to woo him, he would get shy.”

Guddi Maruti revealed that Akshay Kumar was very ‘flirtatious’ and broke many hearts

Guddi has worked with Akshay in Khiladi, she recalled that his behavior on the sets was quite ‘flirtatious’ by nature. She also claimed that the handsome Hero had many girlfriends. Out of his girlfriends, she knew two or three of them. However, she couldn’t mention for sure how many more he dated. Guddi also stated that despite his flirtatious nature, Akshay had always been a very nice person to work with on set.

Further, Guddi clarified that the Khiladi actor never dated two or three ladies at the same time, but still, he was known as a heartbreaker. According to her, Akshay acted very innocent but the cast often heard many stories about him afterward.
