The Alphabet Chain

This game may seem easy enough, but over time, it gets surprisingly hard — even for grown-ups! Nairita Mukherjee explains that to play the game you will need to write letters down on paper, which are then placed in a hat or something similar. From this point, the rules are simple: Players pick a letter from the hat and announce a word that starts with that letter, the second person to go will say a word that starts with the second letter of the first word, and so on. For instance, it can start with “dinner,” then “item,” then “team,” and so on. Take note that no names, places, or animals can be used – only objects, making the game far harder than it looks.

Bingo

Bingo is a classic game that anyone can play pretty much anywhere with the right tools. To start, a guide on how to play 90-ball by Foxy Bingo notes that you only need to prepare bingo cards for everyone and assign a caller. He or she will draw up the random numbers that everyone can daub on their cards. Use an old-school set of bingo balls if you have one, or even an online app. To make it even more fun, you can even have small cash prizes or tiny household items as a prize to encourage everyone to join.

This isn’t your typical game of charades, as you’ll end up enacting moments throughout your friendship’s history! The instructions are similar to regular charades, and the only difference is that after dividing yourself into two teams, The Huffington Post explains that you must brainstorm funny and memorable moments from your history together. Act them out, and wait for the other team to guess what it is.

Mystery Touch

A game that perhaps everyone will enjoy, Mystery Touch provides a thrill for anyone playing or watching. All you need are blindfolds, a see-through box, and items that feel weird to the touch with your eyes closed, such as wet yarn, a toy snake, or even a shower sponge. Blindfold the player, place the item in the box, and let them touch the item — the player will then have to guess what is in the box. The weirder the item, the better, as it makes the player freak out more (and makes things even more entertaining!). After 2 or 3 wrong guesses, the player will be subject to a dare!
