However, Twitter has become one of the most frequently used tools for big businesses to engage with their customers about their opinions, promotions, and personalities in the briefest way possible.
Many companies, including Zomato, Swiggy, One Plus, and Amazon, used Twitter for marketing their services. While many times they get what they want, other times they get unwanted attention after their tweets go viral like memes. However, there are rare occasions when the conversation between the companies goes viral.
A similar instance happened with Swiggy and Durex India when their banter on New Year’s Eve condom sales went viral on the social media platform. So, let’s find out what actually transpired:

On January 1, when the whole world is busy enjoying the holidays, companies are busy with their marketing. Similarly, a well-known brand that day shared a tweet in which the company boosted the sales of condoms done by Swiggy Instamart. Taking to Twitter, Swiggy wrote,
“2757 packets of @DurexIndia condoms delivered by @SwiggyInstamart so far. please order 4212 more to make it 6969, so we can all say “nice””
