Disha Patani, one of Bollywood’s most stunning and talented actresses, has always been in the spotlight because of her beauty, fashion, and charm. While many know about her past relationship with Tiger Shroff, not everyone is aware that she was previously in a relationship with a TV actor. Disha Patani, a renowned name in Bollywood, was once rumored to be in a relationship with TV actor Parth Samthaan. According to reports, their relationship was troubled by Parth’s extreme possessiveness. A source revealed that Parth regularly checked Disha’s phone, which strained their bond.

The source mentioned to SpotboyE that, eventually, Disha decided to end the relationship, but Parth reportedly started spreading fake stories, claiming that she was the one constantly checking his phone due to possessiveness and that is why he decided to leave her.

“We hear that Parth was insanely possessive about Disha, to the extent that he regularly checked her phone. Parth was possessive. When Disha left him, he went around fabricating stories that the actress used to constantly check his phone and looking at her possessiveness, he decided to leave her.”

The source however shared the truth that when Disha checked his phone she caught him cheating, and this prompted her to end things with him.

“However, the truth is that it’s Parth who used to keep a check on Disha until she turned the tables on him and caught him cheating. It’s then that she started checking his phone.”

Adding to the drama, there were claims that another individual was none other than TV producer and director, Vikas Gupta.

Producer and director Ekta Kapoor once addressed the rumors surrounding Parth Samthaan and Vikas Gupta, confirming that the two were in a relationship. In an interview with DNA, Ekta revealed that despite Parth’s public denial of their association, she had witnessed their close bond firsthand.

She mentioned that Parth accused Vikas of inappropriate behavior on December 7, 2013, (for which he even sent a legal notice to Vikas), but just 20 days later, the two were seen vacationing together.

“Vikas and Parth were close to each other and were in a relationship. Parth accused Vikas of touching him inappropriately on December 7, 2013, and 20 days later, he was with Vikas holidaying in Bangkok! I know because I was also there to bring in the New Year. I have seen several videos of him professing his love for Vikas.”

Ekta further explained that the fallout between Parth and Vikas stemmed from their breakup. According to her, Vikas had been instrumental in shaping Parth’s career but he seems to have forgotten it all.

“The reason Parth has become bitter towards Vikas, who gave him a break in his TV show, is because the relationship came to an end. But he seems to have forgotten that he has a career thanks to Vikas, who groomed him and presented him.”

In 2016, Vikas Gupta broke his silence on the rumors surrounding his alleged relationship with Parth Samthaan and the legal notice sent to him. Speaking to TellyChakkar, Vikas accused Parth of using his influence in the industry to gain popularity and later attempting to extort money and tarnish his reputation.

“Parth used my fame and stronghold in the industry to make a mark and gain popularity. I am not sure exactly why but it looks like from the latest turn of events he has been trying to extort money, gain publicity and threatening me to get rid of the past. He and his legal consultants thought I would be easy bait. They thought I will never come out in open.”

Vikas shared how he showed the cops all the proofs thereby debunking Parth’s complaint.

“But they were wrong. When the cops sent me a summon, I showed them all the proofs and negated each and every complaint of Parth. They agreed and let me go. That’s why I am here today giving this interview. I thank God that I was wise enough to keep proofs with me (which I will reveal in time to come), or else an innocent man would have been incarcerated because someone wanted a front page article on a paper.”

Vikas also questioned Parth’s accusations, pointing out inconsistencies in his claims.

“Had I molested Parth on December then why did he go partying with me later that month? Would you party with a molester? He is a liar.”

Vikas admitted that he and Parth shared a close and warm relationship in the past. However, he further refrained from discussing the nature of their relationship publicly.

The controversy deepened when Vikas shared a now-infamous photo of Parth pecking him on the cheek, while they both were lying on the same bed.

Parth Samthaan expressed his frustration over the matter. He said,

“I have no idea. Why would he even do something which could jeopardize mine and his career, goes beyond my understanding. He leaks out something, the media calls me. Tomorrow I leak out something, the media will call him. How long will this continue? I am of tired of it now.”

Interestingly, a day after Vikas Gupta’s 2016 interview, Parth Samthaan clarified his stance in a conversation with BollywoodLife, asserting that he is “very much straight” and looking for a girlfriend. While expressing respect for all sexual orientations, he humorously added that he would kiss a girl with full passion and hoped to find a girlfriend soon.

His statement was perhaps the time by which Disha had already caught him cheating and had broken up with him.
