Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma has been in news since the couple got engaged in August this year. Recently, there have been rumors about their separation. The 30-year-old cricketer is the front-line spinner of Team India in limited-overs matches. For the unversed Dhanashree describes herself as Doctor, Choreographer, YouTuber and founder of Dhanashree Verma Company on Instagram. Dhanashree is 24 year old and is also a dentist by profession, she had studied Dentistry from DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai. The first meeting
The couple shared their love story during an interview and revealed how their friendship turned into love while Chahal was taking dance classes from Dhanashree. Revealing how they first met, Dhanashree shared,

“It started off as a student-teacher relationship in April. He had seen my dance videos on YouTube and knew about my work. During the lockdown, Yuzi decided to learn a few new things, including dance. So, he got in touch with me and we started our classes. Slowly we became friends and sort of felt a connect.”

When the love strikes their chords
Chahal cricketer never shies away from expressing his immense love for his ladylove. The lockdwon gave lot to time to know and understand each other as companions. Dhanashree was bowled over by Chahal humility. She said,
“Yuzi is humble, down-to-earth, friendly and a total family guy. His humility bowled me over. The kind of values I’ve been brought up with, I actually wanted someone like him as my life partner. We both are ambitious and are supportive of each other’s profession. We both are fun loving, so there’s never going to be a dull moment.”
The Roka ceremony
After knowing each other for couple of month Chahal revealed his love for Dhanashree to his parents and said he wanted to marry her. Both families met and agreed.

Support during IPL 2020
During IPL 2020 which was played in UAE due to COVID, Dhanashree was seen cheering for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The lady love gave a surprise visit to Chahal before the match against KKR. After families were allowed to make their way into the bubble after taking complete precautions, many players were seen spending time with their loved ones in the UAE. Chahal and Dhanashree took some time off to visit one of Dubai’s famed beaches. Both of them shared the same picture of themselves from the beach.
Chahal and Dhanashree marriage
The marriage was on the cards but the duo managed to keep the details under the wraps to avoid unnecessary attention during COVID pandemic. Both Chahal and Dhanashree broke the news of their marriage by sharing their wedding pictures on Instagram on 22nd December, 2020.The image caption reads,

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Divorce rumors
Fans have been speculating about Yuzvendra and Dhanashree’s separation since the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Chahal even removed all pictures of Dhanashree from his Instagram which fueled the speculation. There were also rumors of them living apart.
Yuzvendra took to his Instagram handle and posted a cryptic note on his Instagram stories on January 7, 2025. In the post, he expressed ‘silence’ being the ultimate answer to the noise. He wrote:

Fans feel that the post addressed the present situation of his relationship with Dhanashree. Dhanashree still has some pictures of them together on her account. Despite the divorce rumors, none of them opened up about the situation. They have neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, probably waiting for it to simmer.
Amid the divorce rumor, Yuzvendra was spotted with a mystery girl in a Mumbai hotel. According to a report by The New Indian, Yuzvendra was seen at the reception with an unknown girl.
