How to reach Cubbon park

From Airport: You can take the KSRTC bus that operates between the airport and M.G. Road or Kasturba Road. Other than that, you can directly book a cab to Kasturba Road.

The nearby places to the park are Hudson Circle, Ambedkar Veedhi, and State Central Library.

Best time to visit Cubbon park

From September to February– the temperature remains soft and breezy. At this time, you can see more birdlife including migratory species too. There is less chance of rain and the climate is pleasant.

From March to May– It’s summertime and the park looks pretty with springtime flowers. The temperature doesn’t rise above 35 °C and is still pleasant.

From June to September– During this period you might witness mild to heavy rainfall. This is the best time for romantic getaways. Make sure you carry a big umbrella or rain cover.

Important information about Cubbon park

Location- Kasturba Road, in Sampangi Rama Nagara, in Bengaluru City behind the High Court of Karnataka. You can reach the park easily by commuting by Cubbon Park Metro station, which is just 100 m walking distance.

Cubbon park timings- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The park remains closed- On Mondays and the second Tuesdays of every month. The area in the park limited to only morning walkers remain open from 6:00-8:00 AM in the morning.

It was established in 1983, it has three different floors dedicated to water beings. There are 14 large water tanks on the first floor, the second floor has 69 tanks.
