7 Bollywood Celebrities Who Rejected A Movie Because They Didn’t Liked Their Co-Star

With hundreds of movies being released every year and many being in process to make, the industry has multiple inside stories going on. Just like nobody knows how the movie will perform at the big screen, nobody has the idea about the personal relationship between two celebrities. There has been multiple instances when actors refused to do films because they didn’t liked their co-star.

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Emraan Hashmi

Kareena Kapoor precondition before signing any movie was that she would only work with A-category Bollywood actors list. One such movie where Kareena was offered a role opposite Emraan Hashmi, to which she simply refused to work.

2. Ranbir Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha

It was reported that Ranbir Kapoor was offered a movies opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Ranbir liked the script but asked the producers to cast some other actress opposite as he thought that Sonakshi will look too old opposite to him. When the makers were adamant to cast Sonakshi for the movies, Ranbir walked off the film.

3. Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif

Baar Baar Dekho was first offered to Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif. But Ranveer Singh refused to work as he did not want to go against his wife Deepika Padukone as she didn’t want him to do the role. We all are aware of the controversy between Deepika and Katrina over Ranbir Kapoor.

4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi

In an episode of Koffee with Karan, Emraan Hashmi had labelled Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as “plastic”. During a rapid-fire round, Aishwarya was asked about the “worst” comment she ever heard about herself, to which she replied, “fake and plastic.” Hence when she came to know that the role of Diljit Dosanjh was taken over by Emraan Hashmi in Baadshaho it didn’t make her a minute to quite the role.

5. Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor

After the release of Fitoor there were rumours that Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were dating each other though there was nothing between them. After the huge success of the movie, Tiger Zinda Hai Katrina Kaif became very alert and choosy of the co-actors because of such rumors.

The difference between the two arose when the engagement between Amitabh’s son Abhishek and Karishma Kapoor was canceled due to some reason. The film Black was supposed to have the Big B and Kareena Kapoor. But due to this incident, this role was given to Rani Mukherjee.
