5 Actors From Bihar Who Succeeded In Bollywood With Their Talent And Hard Work

1. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput may have left this world, but he has left behind an unforgettable legacy that allows us to appreciate his extraordinary skills.

He was born in Patna and subsequently came to Delhi for higher study, only to discover that he had a love for acting, and he went on to make a name for himself via his intelligence, devotion to his art, and film roles. It is difficult to discover someone as committed to other academic fields as his specialty.

2. Manoj Bajpayee

Manoj Bajpayee claimed in an interview with Humans of Bombay that he has wanted to be an actor since he was nine years old. He said,

“I’m a farmer’s son; I grew up in a village in Bihar with 5 siblings–we went to a hut school. We led a simple life, but whenever we went to the city, we’d go to the theatre. I was a Bachchan fan & wanted to be like him. At 9, I knew acting was my destiny.”

Manoj has worked hard to get to where he is now, and he got his start in Bollywood with Satya. We are fortunate to have such talented people in the field who can demonstrate that aspirations can come true.

3. Pankaj Tripathi

Many budding actors look up to Pankaj Tripathi and swear by him. He was recently appointed by the Bihar government as the brand ambassador for Khadi Mall. With little more than his faith in his craft, he was able to create some truly remarkable characters, such as Kaleen Bahia from Mirzapur.

Pankaj Tripathi, a farmer’s kid from the little hamlet of Belsand in Bihar’s Gopalganj district, made it big in Bollywood and now has a following of followers and lovers.

4. Sanjay Mishra

Sanjay Mishra was born into a middle-class family in Darbhanga, Bihar, and began his acting career in 1991 with a role in the TV series Chanakya.

He intended to make a living as an actor in Mumbai, but he was able to carve out a niche for himself thanks to his acting prowess.

5. Akhilendra Mishra

Akhilendra Mishra is unquestionably one of Bollywood’s most underappreciated performers, and he deserves to be recognized. He is also from Bihar and has a science master’s degree.

His father, on the other hand, was never enthusiastic about his son’s desire to pursue a career in acting. He told Outlook Magazine that he remembers those days fondly. He said,

“We as children had the utmost respect for our parents, especially our father. We never went to our fathers directly to ask them for anything. It was always through our mothers. I used to go to her every day saying that I wanted to try my hand at acting but she used to shoo me away saying that if I couldn’t become an engineer, how would it be possible for me to become an actor.”

He added,

“After receiving no positive reply from her, I mustered up the courage and went up to my father and asked him directly. And to everyone’s surprise, he allowed me. I guess he didn’t know things would go so far.”

He appeared in movies like Sarfarosh, Gangaajal, Lagaan and Kaabil.
