The clip is from a chat show of the CEAT award function where Bhuvneshwar Kumar seizes the chance to tease Shubman Gill when he mentions that being a scientist could have been an alternative career choice. It’s evident that this video has quickly become a viral sensation.

Shubman Gill’s cricketing prowess in 2023 has been nothing short of spectacular. The right-handed batsman achieved the remarkable feat of scoring centuries in all three formats for the Men in Blue. In recognition of such outstanding achievements, Gill was honored with the Best Batsman award at the recent CEAT award show held in Mumbai, last month. It was during this award function’s chatshow segment that Bhuvneshwar Kumar playfully teased Gill, adding a touch of humor to the event.

In the chatshow of the CEAT award function, senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, magnificent batsman Shubman Gill, and budding star of women’s cricket team Shafali Verma were asked interesting questions. One such interesting question was,

“What would you have chosen as an alternate career option if you guys did not become cricketers.”

To this, Shafali replied, that she would have been a volleyball player since she loved playing it during her schooldays. Meanwhile, Bhuvi responded by saying he would have loved the opt for the army or police since a majority of his family members are in this field. Finally, Shubman Gill also gave a response where he said he would have perhaps been a scientist since he enjoyed science fiction as a kid.

Taking onto this moment, Bhuvi playfully responded to Gill as we quote,

“Konsi class tak padha hai (Till which standard you have studied).”

To this, Shubman replied,

“Abhi chal rahi hai meri graduation (My graduation is still on-going).”

Bhuvi did not just stop here, he went on to answer what Virat Kohli’s alternate career option would have been. He said, Virat definitely would have been a good WWE wrestler.
