Contrary to what many fear, AI will not completely take over human jobs in the near future. There are many jobs, where human force and decision-making would be better than employing or using AI systems.

Many small companies and businesses would be against using AI and instead focus on using the human workforce due to the exorbitant rates of developing, installing, running, and maintaining an AI system. All-purpose AI algorithms might even be beyond the scope of funds available to them.

It would be efficient to replace the human workforce with AI only in cases of routine jobs and repetitive tasks like packing goods, segregating material, taking customer queries, and such.

After AI takes over some jobs, human employees will be trained and the responsibilities would be diverted to development, maintenance, and working on the AI algorithms. A lot of work and responsibilities would open up in the back end of the company, and those would be done by humans.

So, it is a misconception when many say that using AI systems in workplaces will result in many employees being laid off. Rather, the responsibilities would get diverted and companies would be on the lookout for a different kind of talent.

What can be said about the future is that there will be more job opportunities for people with a moderate level of talent and understanding of their field. Illiterate or non-talented candidates might be in little trouble in the near future when it comes to landing a job where they are needed.
