Mahindra has recently launched the idea of a new vehicle Thar.e. Thar.e will be an electrified version of the currently available Mahindra Thar lifestyle SUV. According to industry predictions, Thar electric SUV manufacturing might begin in two years, i.e. 2025.

The electric Mahindra Thar.e will be built on the INGLO-P1 EV platform used by the Indian carmaker. The platform will ensure a sizable battery pack for the SUV while maintaining its lightweight. The Thar.e will be provided with higher ground clearance and all-wheel drive. Mahindra revealed that the Thar.e electric concept SUV will have a wheelbase that varies from 2,776 mm to 2,976 mm and a roughly 300 mm ground clearance.
When it comes to looks, Thar.e differs a lot from the existing Thar SUVs available on the Indian market. The concept EV has updated LED headlamps with a square shape in the front end. The grille has LED bars, it has a noticeable sturdy front bumper, and Thar.e badging on the blacked-out grille. The car also has notable large all-terrain wheels.
Mahindra has not yet disclosed the upcoming electric SUV’s specific battery capacity and anticipated range. An official release date has not been revealed by the manufacturer either.
