5 Actors Who Left Bollywood And Opted For A Different Career

Being into Bollywood or coming from a family who is related to Bollywood gives a lot of expectations onto someone and their career choices. Though most of such people go into the acting industry and get great feedback from the same, some don’t. There are some people who chose not to continue their career in Bollywood and quit this domain.

Below is the list of actors who quit Bollywood to purse another career:

1. Rajat Bedi

Rajat used to play the roles of boys who girls would want to date but not marry since he was the women stealer in the films. Acted the villain in many well-known films like Koi.. Mil Gaya, International Khiladi, and Jaani Dushman.

Though he was doing pretty well in the Bollywood vertical, he shifted to Canada because of better business projects. (Exposure doesn’t pay anyone bill.)

2. Rahul Khanna

Vinod Khanna’s son and Akshaye Khanna elder brother had everything to make it big in Bollywood. Not only on the basis of acting but also in the case of his writing skills. He won the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for Deepak Mehta’s Earth (1999) and then he worked in Spike Lee’s film 3 A.M..

Even though he achieved and got so many opportunities he did not continue with his Bollywood venture. Now works as a model and influencer on Instagram.

3. Sahil Khan

Having a body which most of the audience used to droll on. He appeared in movie alongside Sharman Joshi in Style movie series, but then he stopped and went to pursue some other career. His work was so good that he even got featured on the Stardust Cover while having Salman and Shah Rukh Khan.

In an Instagram post, he blamed Salman Khan for dumping him from one of his films which was one of the reasons behind him putting a stop to his career in Bollywood. Now he is a fitness enthusiast and owns a lot of gym franchises under him.

4. Chandrachur Singh

We have already seen Chandrachur Singh being the boy next door in films with Shah Rukh Khan. Some of the films are, Kya Kehna and Josh are few of the hit films he was a part of. Gradually he decided to quit Bollywood and pursue some other career because he wasn’t getting films with good content.

Though we did see his work in Disney + Hotstar’s Aarya recently. And there might be a chance for him to come back to Bollywood again.

5. Deepak Tijori

Acted in a lot of films like, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Khiladi, and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. At times he legit gave good completion when it comes to acting to stars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and SRK. Though he did not completely leave the entertainment sector, he did change the domain from acting to directing films now.
