7 Bollywood Actors Who Left The Movies In Middle Of The Shooting

The casting of the movie plays a major role in determining how the movie is going to be. No matter how solid or good the storyline is, if the actors doesn’t do justice, the movie goes for a toss completely. And, we don’t realize this until some actor takes up the role, begins shooting and then opt-out of it. That is the worst scenario.

Here are the 7 actors who left the movie just after starting the shooting, leaving in the midway.

1. Kareena Kapoor in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai

Long before Ameesha Patel signed the debut, opposite heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor was chosen for the movie. She even shot some parts of the movie and then walked out. She landed up making a debut opposite Abhishek Bacchan for the movie Refugee. Fans out of curiosity googled Kareena Kapoor and Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and they found an image that confirms this. There is no particular reason found by the reports or media about the reason of her opting out of the movie, but undoubtedly the movie was a super hit and Ameesha Patel has done a tremendous job in the movie.

2. Alia Bhatt in Raabta

Initially, it was Alia who was about to star opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, but because of the date issues, Alia had to opt-out of it. According to reports Alia blocked the dates for Karan Johar’s Shuddhi which eventually got canceled as well. Later it was Kriti Sanon who was signed for the movie and no doubt she has done an amazing job. Sushant and Kriti looked absolutely cute together on the screen making the movie hit.

3. Sushant Singh Rajput in Half Girlfriend

Sushant Singh Rajput was the first choice for the lead role in the movie which later went to Arjun Kapoor because Sushant already committed to shooting for Raabta long back even before signing this movie, so basically, he chose to stick to the previous plan. Arjun Kapoor wasn’t the bad choice though. He was really good with the acting and had done justice to the role he acted for.

4. Aishwarya Rai in Chalte Chalte

Though Aishwarya Rai was the first choice for the film Chalte Chalte starring opposite SRK. But, as reported by reports, that was the time when her ex-boyfriend Salman
Khan ended up coming to the sets of Chalte Chalte and vandalized the property really badly. Eventually, she was left with no other option and had to walk out in order to allow the shooting smoothly. And that’s when Rani Mukherjee walked in opposite SRK, and I guess no one would deny the fact about the hard work and amazing acting skills we have seen in the movie.

5. Tara Sutaria in Kabir Singh

Being one of the biggest hits in 2019, it was a part of controversy as well. Though Kiara’s acting was just tremendous doing all justice to the role of Preeti it was reported that the first choice for that role was to be Tara Sutaria, but then she backed out as she decided to work in Marjaavan with her rumored boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra. Kiara’s acting was amazing and her fans went all gaga on her acting making the movie superhit.

6. Ranbir Kapoor in Jodha Akbar

Can we really even imagine someone else in that royal Avatar which Hrithik has nailed completely? I guess no one. But, according to reports while promoting Bombay Velvet, Ranbir Kapoor mentioned in an interview with Rajeev Masand that he opted out of Jodha Akbar. The grace that heartthrob Hrithik has added in the movie is beyond imaginations when it comes to taking up that role. He has done a remarkable job in the movie.

7. Kareena Kapoor in Ram Leela

Kareena’s fan went all gaga when her trial pictures from Ram Leela went viral, seeing her in a big Bhansali production and probably she would have done a great job. Apparently, as per reports, she was not ready to give her time more than 100 days which was blocked by her already, but the production team felt that was too less and didn’t work out very well. So she had to opt-out. But, Deepika did wonders and was magical on the screen. And Deepika gave her best making one of the most liked movies by all the people. The role was totally justified by her and Ranveer and Deepika looked a perfect pair in the movie.

No matter who walked out from the shooting or who walked in. Whether it is the first choice or not, these movies have been a hit doing all justice to the roles played individually. And some of them had really done a tremendous job in the movies.
