Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who have a nine-year-old son named Azad Rao Khan, startled the world when they announced their divorce on July 3 of earlier this year. They broke the news in a joint statement after 15 years of marriage, leaving their followers disappointed.

Aamir and Kiran characterised their 15 years together as beautiful, during which they experienced a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, according to a joint statement. The actor went on to say that their relationship has changed but that they were still together.

However, months after their split, rumours are circulating that the Aamir Khan is preparing to marry for the third time.

For the unaware, Aamir met Kiran in 2001 on the sets of Lagaan. Aamir was the film’s main actor and producer, while Kiran was an associate director. The actor was married to Reena Dutta, who was also the executive producer of Lagaan, at the time.

In terms of Aamir’s marriage to Reena Dutta, they married in 1986 and divorced in 2002. They have a son named Junaid Khan and a daughter named Iran Khan. Even though their divorce was not painful, Aamir previously remarked that it was difficult for both of them.

The actor and Reena married while they were both quite young, as Aamir had previously stated. He defined their bond as special, saying she is one of three women in his life who are extremely important to him.

Aamir fell in love with Kiran during his legal separation from his first wife, Reena. They ultimately performed marriage vows on December 28, 2005, after dating for several years. Azad was born to them through surrogacy in 2011.

“A bunch of strangers, whom I’ve never met, are writing things about me. They don’t even know if there’s any truth to it. People reading it assume that I’m ‘not a good person.’ You feel like telling that person, ‘Ask me, I’ll give you an answer. It disturbs me because I don’t want people to assume wrong things.”

On the professional field, Aamir will next be seen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, in which he will co-star with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The eagerly anticipated movie is an official Bollywood version of Tom Hanks’ 1994 blockbuster Forrest Gump. It will be released on April 14 of next year, clashing with Yash’s KGF 2.
