Bollywood movies are a lot of things and being tad unrealistic is one of them. We have witnessed their unrealism umpteen times and during our naïve years of teenage, we actually believed them. Almost every Indian teenage girl has dreamt about a Raj for herself or has thought about running away from home like Geet from Jab We Met. But nothing that goes in a Bollywood movie is real.
Below have compiled a list of things that happens in a Bollywood movie but is far away from what reality looks like.

1. Stopping your ex’s wedding
You suddenly realize you still have feelings for your ex, but oh no! She’s getting married right now. So what? I may just go ahead and sabotage her wedding ceremony. She will come running into my arms leaving her bridegroom on the altar. Happens in every movie. But do these things work in real life? No, I don’t think so.

2. Your dupatta getting stuck on a handsome dude’s cuff
Girls reading this, you know this never happens. Every time our dupatta gets stuck into anything its either a cycle’s wheel or a door handle. Never has it ever got stuck in a handsome guy’s cuff. So, boys and girls, Om Shanti Om’s Aankhon Mein Teri is a big farce.
3. Hero coming back from the dead
Death is never the ending in a typical Bollywood movie. If a hero dies in the middle of a movie, it doesn’t end there. He will make a dramatic re-entry taking everybody including his sweetheart to surprise. In reality, dead means gone and no coming back.

4. College students doing everything but studying
Student of the Year is a handbook of what every student should NOT do in college. They do everything except studying. And still they manage to land lucrative jobs in multinational conglomerates. Only if such things happened in real life as well.
5. Actors never finishing their meals
The dinner table are always used for family drama and arguments. It always ends up with the main character walking out, leaving a full platter behind. In real life, you gotta eat if you’re gonna handle all the things they do in movies.

6. It takes forever for people to die
After getting shot in the head, the main character gets the time and breaths to bid their last goodbye, apologise, propose, and even make promises. In real life, the dying person would only think about his last breath.
7. Flash mobs with coordinated steps
The hero starts dancing for his sweetheart and the rest of the crowd joins him with coordinated dance moves. Where did these people come from? How do they know the steps? Where are the musical instruments that are playing? Who knows!
8. People take laws in their hand
Mr. XYZ killed the hero’s family? He decides to take matter in his hands. Plot a revenge for years and bam! Years later, he kills the antagonist with a catchy one liner in the end. Why don’t they ever think about calling the police or getting a lawyer?
9. No one dresses according to the weather
Its snowing outside yet the actress is dancing in a skimpy dress or a saree. The actor is having a sweater hanging on his shoulder but he’s not going to wear it. In the scorching heat of a desert, actress will have the balls to wear a heavily embroidered ghaghra. That’s Bollywood for you.

10. People get away with a m#rder like nobody’s business
There’s always a gun or fist fight at the end of the movie. Hero kills over a dozen of people and easily gets away with it. They shoot and stab down people like child’s play.
