Scam 1992

Web series are the new hot thing to be around and the best part is, they still did not go out of style. There are many genres, many stories, and many episodes. Some of them can be mainstream, while some can make you rethink the whole universe just because of its content. Now that they are flourishing in the entertainment business and becoming Bollywood’s major rival, there are tips and tricks which Bollywood can take from them.

1. Realistic story

Bollywood took the term, fictional way too seriously. Where most of the time we get into utter shock with the terrible unrelatable storyline. Well, I really thought college life is going to be like, Student Of The Year now it’s nowhere near, thank you, Karan.

3. Choice of songs

You’d hardly see the protagonists of a web series start dancing out of the blue. Rather we find songs while the characters are still acting their scene out. It’s like they live their lives and just like real life we start singing for ourselves, they do that too. The best of all is that the songs are on point and well laced it matches with the scene and it is made to me that way.

4. Background theme/music for the series

The background music of the series is what makes it stand out. There are series that we instantly remember just because of the iconic background music they created for themselves. Let’s unlock a memory for you, Scam 1992 background music. Yes, I’m sure you’ve already started humming that music.

5. Scenes setting, color palette, story board, etc.

Just like we already mentioned before, the settling of the scene is always made in the most realistic way possible. The dialogues feel like they are straight out of the real-life situation, even the character is not always with loads of makeup and fully ready to walk upon a fashion parade, unlike Bollywood. The color palette used and the visual effect present there a huge green flag.

7. On point humor, without triggering others (mostly)

Not all of the web series are as clean as some of them, where they refrain from making toxic jokes. Since Bollywood has already made us very familiar with racists, sexist, and downgraded jokes. At times we started accepting that but through the “woke” culture we’ve realized that it’s not the case and Bollywood is a real jerk (at times) unlike web series.
