In our day to day life, we listen to new articles about instances of people being insensitive towards each other and communities. And in some cases, hallowed institutions bear the grunt, even when they do not fault of theirs.
One such institution is Sweden’s Lund University, which has been a victim of such trolls in India, due to its weird name. In the country Swedish, ‘Lund’ signifies ‘green area’. But due to Indians excessive trolls, they’ve finally had enough.

They took up the constant trolling in a Facebook post, mentioning it was an important task deleting all of the excessive troll mail that they keep on receiving. They receive all of the hateful comments despite being one of the world’s top 100 universities.
The post went viral in no time, and lead to a flurry of angry rebukes towards the perpetrators of this pointless trolling. A lot of people slammed them for an educational institution.
Reading this post from the university shows that it isn’t a laughing matter for them cos many of our desi heroes don’t just share it with each other. They feel compelled to post it on the Lund University facebook page for some reason. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️https://t.co/z5EU3u8lj0

Since the time all this crass happened, university Facebook page has been offline. When such trolling happens it looks fun at the start but then it becomes something serious.
