Sucheta Dalal worked as a journalist for two decades and has got the most recognized awards like Padma Shri Awards and other prestigious recognitions through her hard work and efforts. Sucheta Dalal became the Financial Editor of the Times of India in 1998. She has worked with her husband, and other co-workers and has published many books and articles emerging as an Indian business journalist cum author.

1. Sucheta Dalal was born on 1st, January 1962 in Mumbai

Sucheta Dalal age is 60 years as of 2022. She lived with her parents in Belagavi till the year 1996, after which they sold the house.

 2. She did her schooling at St. Joseph’s convent school in Belagavi

She studied there for three years and did pre-university education at RLS college. She is a Science graduate with statistics as her main subject. She chose Law and completed her law graduation & post-graduation at Mumbai university.

Her primary interest was to write content on business and finance-related topics.

4. In 1974, Sucheta started her career as a journalist in Fortune India, dealing in investment magazines

She got fantastic breaks in Business Standard and Economic Times, where she came up as a financial editor and journalist. It paved the way to work in the Times of India. She joined as a journalist cum financial editor in the Times of India in the Mumbai location.

A 2021 film, The Big Bull, which is also based on the same book has a character inspired by Sucheta Dalal played by the actress Ileana D’Cruz.
