In recent times, many celebrities revealed their relationships. However, one couple attracts everyone’s attention because their story sounds straight from a Bollywood movie. They are none other than Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj. Two people belong to wholly different worlds. One is a promising cricketer coming from a modest background; the other is a hardcore socialist politician backed by a family legacy.

But people say that those who are already paired are destined to meet. They met through friends, and with the consent of their families, they decided to get married. Their engagement ceremony took place at the Centrum Hotel in Lucknow in June 2025. In addition to cricket players Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, and Aryan Juya, the wedding reportedly welcomed 300 VIPs, including Jaya Bachchan, Ikra Hasan, SP head Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, and Ramgopal Yadav.

For those who are unaware, the BCCI calendar states that between October 19 and November 8, India will go to Australia for three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals. After that, they will host South Africa for an all-format series that will include three ODIs commencing on November 30 and two Test matches from November 14–18 and November 22–26. Importantly, Rinku is going to be an important part of the Indian cricket team. That’s why the team won’t afford Rinku’s absence from both tours. And Rinku himself doesn’t want to lose these golden opportunities to prove his mettle on an international level.
