Rekha Has No Films Or Ads But This Source Of Income Keeps Her Rich

Rekha is a legend in the Indian Cinema. She has countless awards and honors in her name and even today, she shines brighter than any new girl in Bollywood. She is 63 years old and has been a part of over 180 movies in 40 years. But it all started from 1970 when she had made her debut with her first movie, Sawan Bhadan. But, ever wondered what is the current source of income for Rekha? She does not do movies anymore, does not do ads but still lives a lavish and extravagant life that she should live. A lot of people have been trying to speculate about how she is able to manage the life that she is living and has also become a part of some controversies along the way.

We still remember the times when we would see Rekha starring in 5 to 6 movies in a year and maybe sometimes even 8 movies in a year but we have been observing that Rekha was hardly seen in at most 1 to 2 movies only since the last decade. Rekha is only seen making her presence marked at the award shows where she just stuns everyone with her striking beauty. The last movie that she had done was Shamitabh back in 2015.

Despite the fact that she has not been doing the number of movies like she used to do, she is still living the same life as she did when she would appear in the movies. There isn’t an impact on her lifestyle. This is the reason why everyone has their eyes rolling. How she is actually keeping that life standard maintained. At least we know for sure that films are not the reason to back up her lifestyle. What is it then?

We don’t even see Rekha coming in advertisements these days. She does not even associate into the promotion of any products in the market. She cannot be getting paid for just existing. There has to be something!

Mentioning a report from Patrika, Rekha actually owns a luxurious bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai and also owns a lot of properties in Mumbai and other parts of Southern India. She receives a hefty amount of rent from all of these properties. Not just this, even though she does movies occasionally, she gets paid handsomely for those occasional appearances.

Also, Indian Politics has the potential to make you someone to have a silver spoon in your mouth. Rekha was a member of the Rajya Sabha and therefore, she also has received the money from the Indian government as her salary for the job. People had recently fired shots at Rekha for collecting money from the government for being a member of Rajya Sabha and mostly being absent there. Rekha also gets paid a high amount of fee for appearing in private events by the rich industrialists and so on.

She doesn’t like to spend hefty amounts of money to designers to wear new clothes as she loves wearing saree and put on a classy and elegant look. Most of the sarees she wears are gifted and few are from her old collection. Despite the fact that’s she is a celebrity and has a lot of money, she is not a spendthrift. She puts her money into work. Rekha has some of the most loyal staff in the industry. She has a secretary whose name is Farzana and she goes with Rekha wherever she goes.

Rekha is known to believe in the traditions and beliefs of a middle-class family and thus, does not see any need for buying out the luxurious and fancy cars like most of the celebrities do. She does not even go on expensive holidays to some country abroad like most of the celebrities these days. Also, Rekha does not believe in spending too much on her entourage. She believes strongly in “A penny saved is a penny earned” and that is how she has been able to manage her expenses quite well.

Rekha brings out an example for all of us. She has managed her past earnings and all that she is earning in the present in such a way that despite that she does not work a lot today, she is still able to live the life of luxury and high-standard like she has always been living since she entered the industry.
