Let’s just get it out loud. This is not the first time that Mumbai Police has been savage and given a humorous reply to people. There have been instances in the past where the social media handles of the Mumbai Police account, have been swift with their actions and replied. Not only that, but they’ve also hopped onto the ongoing meme trend threads and well, won the hearts of citizens.
Recently the account replied with nothing but pure sass and that gained the attention of many. Never breach the rules of the road, and even if you do, don’t brag about it. The Mumbai Traffic Police’s new statement is a clear indication that subverting the judicial system is a no-no.

A Twitter user named Mumbai Matterz shared a photo of a father riding a scooter with his toddler and refusing to yield to other automobiles. The man didn’t even have a helmet on. He derisively advised fellow passengers, “Bulao police ko (call the police)” when requested to deliver a way to other motorists, according to the post.
When a Twitter user, Mumbai Matterz, uploaded an image of a man perched on a scooter with a toddler snapping a selfie on the street, the Mumbai traffic police reacted quickly. According to the user, the man did not wear a helmet and did not yield to other vehicles.
Mumbai Matterz tweeted on Thursday, alerting the police, that the individual was ridiculing the legislation and had even cynically begged others to call the cops.
“Such a mockery of Law…@sanjayp_1 Sir…Nowadays no one fears nor respects @mumbaipolice @MTPHereToHelp. This helmetless biker MH01DC4597 riding on the #WrongSide of TH Kataria Marg, Mahim, refused to give way & began laughing & taking selfies…Saying bulao Police ko..”

The response from the Mumbai Police account was quick,

But like every other thing, this received mixed reactions as well. There were people completely for what was being said considering the fact that the Police took the right step.
Whereas there were people who thought the man didn’t do any crime and it was being overdone by the power of the police. This is what the reply tweet said,
Sir,
It’s not punishable offence to selfie with daughter. Headlight is on but it may be on by switch. Engine@May be off. He is not driving the scooter. Plz don’t disturb anyone happiness.— Naresh P.Jain “Betala” (@BetalaJain) May 19, 2022

There is something wrong in our genes which makes us feel proud about breaking laws in our own country ..we don’t even feel ashamed of doing so…and once we go outside, we try and becoming completely law abiding.

Views might differ but the factor that people do break laws even though it made so strict and important to follow is something that should not be ignored and should be monitored more precisely from now on.
