7 Life Changing Bollywood Movies That Will Change Your Perception Towards Life

The meaning and perspective of life differ according to people. Not everyone defines success, life, and how to have a concoction of both the words in a very different way. Just like that, people tend to get easily swayed off by something they see and find to be interesting.

Media, entertainment is what keeps us isolated from the daily monotonous life. And when a life slightly different from the one we live and try to survive through is portrayed in front of us, we get swayed somewhat inspired and try our best to recreate that life for us.

1. Dil Dhadakne Do – 2015

Leaving all the lavish life and first-class living experience aside. The film was way too progressive. It did not back out on any social issues. Where we see parents trying to force the girl into the marriage they planned as a business deal to the brother getting his sister out of a toxic marriage.

The movie portrayed how women are mostly looked down upon, and how toxic rivalries between families can affect the personal relations of children belonging to those families.

2. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani – 2013

The romanticizing art of the film is a bit toxic and off guard, understandable. But the film actually showed how important friendship is! Aditi was clearly in love with her gambler best friend, Avi. Yet she moved on got married called her friends and made it a beautiful event.

Not only that, though Bunny was shown as a character who never wanted love and to Steele down. But at the end of the film, we do see him settling down for the woman he loves, Naina.

3. Jab We Met – 2007

Teaching us how people can be disappointing. How life can turn the chattiest of people into someone who hates to talk just because of unseen circumstances thrown at them. Betrayal, love, friendship, companionship, self-love family love. Everything was portrayed in this film very particularly and minutes.

And a little bit of bad decision might end up changing someone’s whole life. Certainly not always in a bad way. Sometimes we’re all Geet, but sometimes, we’re Geet from Shimla.

4. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – 2011

Yet another movie, where leaving the rich life experience out and the lavish lifestyle would probably be a good thing to do before watching the film (rewatching).

Friendship, companionship, love, and enjoying life. This is what the movie taught us. There are times when we make decisions we regret but we accept them anyway, just like Kabir did. He did not want to marry Natash, yet he refused to back off until the last moment.
Had his friends not been there to help him out, he probably have regretted that decision his whole life.

Trying out new things and getting out of your shell. Laila helped Arjun to find out the hidden meaning of life, made him a whole different person. And Imraan finally found the truth he was seeking for a long time. Each of them got the conclusion they wanted their stories to have.

5. Wake Up Sid – 2009

Showing a woman pursuing her dreams and finally flourishing at what she wanted to do. Wake Up Sid was a stereotypical break story in the industry at that moment. Not only that, the fact that they had an age gap and that too a revered one, where the girl was older than the guy.

Though this kinda storyline doesn’t really work, nor does it get portrayed too much in the film industry. But it did get the attention it deserved and did not back off from the beautiful meaning.

6. Dil Chahta Hai – 2001

The film initially teaches people about the importance of good friends in life. The story of three friends and what impact friends creates in one’s life. Showing how anything and everything can be possible if you end up having only a few good friends in life.

Farhaa Akhtar produced the film and gained immense success through it. The lead roles were played by Akshaye Khanna, Saif Ali Khan, and Aamir Khan.

7. Udaan – 2010

The film dealt with a lot of problems teenagers faces. Be it the excruciating education system or the sky rocketing expectations parents keep from their children. The film showed how an abusive household can affect a kid’s life and let their courage down because of that.

The title is very appropriate to the storyline and henceforth it did immensely well among its audience.
