Much awaited trailer of Kesari is out starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra. The movies is based on the famous of Battle of Saragarhi (1897) where 21 Sikh soldiers fought fearlessly against 10,000 Afghan invaders. Akshay Kumar in the lead role plays Havildar Ishar Singh of the Sikh regiment.
Kesari is co-produced by Akshay Kumar (through Cape Of Good Hope) and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and is directed by Anurag Singh. Kesari will hit screens on March 21, 2019.
The trailer begins with Akshay Kumar saying, “A Britisher, once told me, I am a slave and only cowards are born in India. Today’s the day to give him a reply.” And, soon Afghan soldiers are seen running towards him in huge numbers and Havildar Ishar Singh aka Akshay Kumar is ready to go head to head with them.
