These rumours of Fatima and Vijay dating gained traction shortly after reports surfaced about Vijay’s split from Tamannaah Bhatia earlier in 2025. Adding fuel to the fire, Fatima and Vijay were seen together while filming their upcoming project, Gustakh Ishq.

However, Fatima has now addressed the speculation in a recent interview, firmly denying any romantic involvement and putting an end to the buzz.

When asked if she was involved with anyone, Fatima gave an honest reply, revealing that she’s single. Reflecting on what “ideal love” means to her, she spoke of equality and mutual respect, noting that true partnerships require compromise without losing one’s sense of self.

“Acche ladke hai hi nahi yaar… filmon mein acche hote hain” (good guys only exist in films, not in her real life).

On the work front, Fatima is currently juggling multiple projects. She’ll be seen in Metro In Dino, releasing on July 4, alongside a star-studded ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Pankaj Tripathi. She also stars in Netflix’s Aap Jaisa Koi, set to release on July 11, and is working on Gustakh Ishq with Vijay Varma.

Meanwhile, Vijay Varma has a dynamic lineup of projects for 2025. He will be seen in Gustaakh Ishq, a romantic drama co-starring Fatima Sana Shaikh and Naseeruddin Shah. He’s also gearing up for the release of Matka King, a gritty Prime Video series set in 1960s Mumbai, directed by Nagraj Manjule. Additionally, Vijay has joined forces with filmmaker Hansal Mehta for a new project, starring Anil Kapoor, which is currently in pre-production.
