The success of the first season of The Family Man created a huge fanbase for itself. It eventually became the most viewed web series on Amazon Prime Video. The performance of the cast members, writers and executors was praised by the critics and audience. As the season came to an end leaving behind numerous questions to the viewers, a season 2 for the same was anticipated by all.
The second installment of RAJ & DK’s The Family Man is not only worth the hype but also better than Season 1. Completed in one go, the show overall keeps you hooked. Unlike the first season which had 10 episodes, the second season has 9 episodes in total which answered almost all our questions. Currently, people are anticipating the third season too since the previous season ended with a few unanswered questions too.

But have you ever wondered how much the cast was paid for playing their part in the series?
1. Sharib Hashmi as JK Talpade
In the previous season, JK Talpade played the role of Srikant’s colleague and his friend who helped him solve the cases. Yet, in this season, Talpade stays by the protagonist’s side even after Srikant decides to back off from his job and start a new life. He provides the protagonist information from his workplace and later both of them take a step together to solve another case. The role of JK Talpade is played by the Bollywood actor Sharib Hashmi. He’s best known for his leading roles in Filmistaan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and the Voot Select’s hit show Asur.
Sharib Hashmi charged an amount of Rs. 65 lakhs for portraying the role of JK Talpade.
2. Samantha Akkineni as Rajalakshmi Sekaran
The character of Rajalakshmi was introduced in the second season of the series. She is the main antagonist of the season. The role is played by Samantha Akkineni, a well-known Indian actress who has established a career in the Telugu and Tamil Film industry. She is a recipient of several awards including four Filmfare Awards, two Nandi Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards and three CineMAA Awards.
Samantha Akkineni charged Rs. 3-4 crore for playing the role of Rajalakshmi.
3. Priyamani as Suchitra Iyer
Suchitra Iyer Tiwari is the spouse of Srikant Tiwari. She isn’t aware of the fact that her husband works for the T.A.S.C. According to the plot, Suchitra and Srikant face a lot of ups and downs in their relationship due to Srikant’s dissatisfaction with his life after quitting his job. The role of Suchitra is played by the Indian actress Priyamani. She has worked in numerous Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam language films. She is also the recipient of the National Film Award for Best Actress and three Filmfare Awards.

Priyamani was paid an amount of 80 lakhs for her role in the second season of the series.
4. Darshan Kumar as Major Sameer
Major Sameer is the Antagonist of the story where he’s the one who orchestrated the attacks on Indian territory in both seasons of the series. Darshan Kumar essayed the role of Major Sameer. He is predominantly known for his lead role in the movie Mary Kom and his appearance in the 2003 film Tere Naam.
Apparently, Darshan Kumar was paid an amount of Rs. 1 crore for portraying the role of Manoj Sameer.
5. Sunny Hinduja as Milind
While Milind’s character was only a recurring one in season 1, he plays an important role in the second season as an officer wrestling with guilt who overcomes his fears to return to T.A.S.C. Milind’s role was portrayed by Sunny Hinduja, who has also worked in Ballad of Rustom and Shaapit: The Cursed.
The actor charged an amount of Rs. 60 lakhs for the same.
6. Ashlesha Thakur as Dhriti Tiwari
 Dhriti Tiwari essayed an important role in the second season of the series. Being an immature girl, she falls in love with a guy who is a bit more mature than her. She portrays the role just like a normal teenager who is kind of obsessed with social media. The role is played by Ashlesha Thakur, who is a child actor and has acted in numerous television advertisements including Dairy Milk, Himalaya, Comfort, etc.
She was paid an amount of Rs. 50 lakhs for the same.

7. Sharad Kelkar as Arvind
Arvind is a colleague of Suchi who once went on a business trip with her. The origin of the popular question “Lonavala Mein kya Hua Tha” arises in season 1 and is still left unanswered in season 2. Sharad Kelkar played the role of Arvind. He has performed in various Bollywood, Marathi, Tollywood and Kollywood TV series, movies and web series.
He charged Rs. 1.6 crore for portraying the role of Arvind.
8. Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari
The main lead of the series Srikant Tiwari is a simple husband and a father who leads a double life. Apart from being an analyst for his family and society, he is also a Senior Agent and Analyst in T.A.S.C. The role is played by the well-known actor Manoj Bajpayee, who predominantly worked in many Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movie is also the recipient of three National Film Awards, Four Filmfare Awards and Two Asia Pacific Screen Awards. He was even awarded the fourth-highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri, for his contributions to art. Bajpayee even won the Drama Series Award and the Critics Choice Best Actor award at the 2020 Filmfare OTT Awards.

For the second season, Manoj Bajpayee was paid Rs. 10 crores for playing the role of Srikant Tiwari.
