6. Musically ‘Diwali’ chairs

This is a twisted form of the evergreen ‘musical chairs’ where the names of crackers are pasted (hidden) under chairs. The same names are written on chits and kept in a bowl and the number of chairs is kept equal to the number of participants. While the players dance around the chairs when the music plays and stop to sit on the chairs closest to them as the music stops, the DJ picks up a chit and announces the name of the cracker. The person(s) sitting on the chair that carries the same name is out of the competition and the chair is removed as well. Musical chairs always make it to the list of fun Diwali games.
