Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush, the 500 crores budgeted film has finally hit the big screens after facing severe backlash since the teaser release. In spite of having a star-studded cast for the movie, seems like not much has changed as netizens are cringed with the movie and its cheap hollow dialogues. Even after editing things over and over, they messed up the story of Ramayana due to several negligences on their part. Fans are quite triggered and demand rectifications.

Dipika Chikhlia is well known for playing the role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan in 1987. After the retelling of the story of Ramayan through Adipurush went wrong, fans are looking back at Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. Amidst the chaos, Dipika Chikhlia had a surprise for her fans.

Dipika Chikhlia won the heart of millions with her performance as Sita back in 1987. As the Adipurush disappointment saga continues, the actor took to her Instagram account to treat her fans with a little something. She stepped back into the shoes of Maa Sita dressed in saffron robes and used the original song Ram Siya Ram from Adipurush as the background score in the video.

Sharing the reel on Instagram Dipika Chikhlia wrote,

“This post is on public demand … I am grateful for the love I have always received for the role I played … Me … as Sita ji …could not have asked for more”
