1. Sikh Bride

3. Assamese Bride

The color of the saree is generally off white or cream embroidered with gold-work. They generally restrict the amount of jewelry or makeup worn but the maang teeka is regarded as something very important and sacred.

Mundavalya which is a string of flower is something which makes Maharashtrian Bride different from other Indian brides. The traditional outfit is made of silk saree with a golden border know as Paithani and hair made up into a bun decorated with mogra flowers. Their wear saree in a dhoti style.

11. Marwari Bride

Marwadi Bride has the heaviest attire of all consisting of a beautiful, heavy lehenga with silk or goldwork. The jewelry she wears matches the heavy lehenga. Borla, Kundan choker or neckpiece, a fingerlet, a gold Nath are of notable importance. During the rituals, the bride is laden with a bandhni odhni, which acts as a veil to cover the head or face of the bride.

13. Oriya Bride

Her outfit consists of maroon, red and magenta-colored, majestical lehenga or saree with proper handwork. The traditional wedding outfit consists of a red chunari along with gota work. The couple has to wear traditional headgear for the ceremony.

14. Andhra Bride

Their outfit is the most sophisticated and simple of all. Jewelry consists of a bajubandh, neckpiece, and earrings. They wear a silk saree with checkered and patterned work.

15. Kashmiri Bride

But the modern brides have restricted to cover their heads with the palla till the rituals are performed. The jewelry consists of platinum and white pearls.
