In an insightful interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh discussed their mutual love of kids and how they were looking forward to becoming parents together. Speaking about the same, Deepika said,
“Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”
Adding her familial angle, she said,
“When I meet the people I have grown up with—my aunts, uncles, family friends—they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing.”

Deepika stressed that her family doesn’t view her as a superstar. Rather, they appreciate her as a daughter and sister, despite the attraction of wealth and fame in the entertainment world. She added,

“In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”
Deepika has been quite busy at work these last few years. She was last seen in Pathaan and Jawan in 2023. Despite having comparatively minor roles in both films, Deepika made a significant impression on the audience. Alongside Hrithik Roshan, the actress will next be seen in Fighter.
