Vicky Kaushal’s much-anticipated film, Chhaava is all set to release in the theaters from February 14 and the film made a promising start at the box office. Vickey Kaushal plays Sambhaji Maharaj in the period drama. The entire star cast has worked hard, from honing their looks to playing the characters with perfection. It also seems that the cast has also considered their remunerations accordingly to not affect the big budget of the film.

Reported Budget & Salary of the period drama

According to reports, the budget for the film is said to be 130 crore. The total salary of the lead cast sums up to only 13 – 14% of the total budget. Vicky Kaushal to Rashmika Mandanna, the stars have kept their earnings behind a margin, so that most of the budget is put into making the film. Vicky Kaushal’s remuneration makes up about 7% Of Chhaava’s Budget

As per reports, Vicky Kaushal has been given Rs 10 crore to play the lead character Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava which comprises almost 7% of the entire reported budget which is the same as the actor’s last fee for his last biopic film, Sam Bahadur, and Rs 2 crore less than his blockbuster film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.

Rashmika Mandanna’s Fees

Despite Animal’s success, Rashmika Mandanna has not increased her fees for the film charging the same 4 crore. She charged the same for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film. She acted as Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj.

Akshaye Khanna’s fees for Chhaava

Akshaye Khanna, earned Rs 2 crore for his role in the film by playing Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor. He was last seen in Drishyam 2 for which he was paid Rs 2.5 crore. So, there has been a pay cut for playing the antagonist in Chhaava. Vicky Kaushal has been paid 5 times more in this film.

Ashutosh Rana fees

Reportedly, he has been paid 80 lakh to play Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, a military leader.

Divya Dutta’s remuneration

Divya Dutta played Rajmata Soyarabai Bhosale in the film, Sambhaji Maharaj’s stepmother, and her earnings is almost 45 lakh.
