The 55-year-old Julia Roberts is another famous personality from Tinseltown who has a massive fan following. Back in 2010, Julia said how she is a Hindu and has embraced this religion for “spiritual satisfaction”. In a famous interview the Notting Hill actress mentioned how she became acquainted with Hinduism, she said,

While it is not sure if she still follows Hinduism she did admit that she is following Hinduism for some mental peace and nirvana.

4. John Coltrane

World-famous American jazz saxophonist, John Coltrane was also among the many people who embraced Hinduism. He was of course born into a Christian family, however, as he grew older gradually began to be influenced by Hinduism. It is said that as time went by he eventually converted himself to a complete Hindu.

Trevor Hall is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who on January 1, 2006, adopted the name Mantra and converted to Hinduism. He is a disciple of Swami Bhajanananda Saraswati from whom he receives instructions.

6. Claudia Ciesla

Claudia Ciesla, the German supermodel, and actor, was originally born as an Ashkenazic devotee of Judaism. Jerry Garcia was the founder of the rock band Grateful Dead and its star player. He was also influenced by Hinduism at a very early age. It is said that since a child he developed a great interest in the faiths of Hinduism.
