Boycott Mirzapur 2 reason- Ali Fazal Tweet

Recently, the much-awaited release date of the second season of the popular crime drama Mirzapur was announced and social media went into a frenzy. Social media was soon flooded with tweets and memes from the excited fans of the show, who were looking forward to the second edition of the show. Fans have been urging the makers to release season two of the show soon so that they can binge-watch the show once again.

Along with actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Harshita Shekhar Gaur, the new season will also have additions like Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli and Isha Talwar. Mirzapur season 2 will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

After asking #KabAayegaMirzapur2 for like the millionth time, the Twitterverse is busy denouncing the same and trending #BoycottMirzapur2 now since the answer is public knowledge. I’m sure you already know that the Amazon Prime Original will be out on October 23 but what you might not know is that led actor Ali Fazal is the reason why a bunch of fans-turned-foes are calling for a boycott on the second installment of the hit show that came in 2018.

However, things changed after some old tweets of actor Ali Fazal resurfaced on social media and went viral on Twitter. The tweets of Ali Fazal are from December 2019, during the CAA NRC protests have been surfaced again and people are citing that the actor ignited mobs. One of the tweets that has been making rounds on the internet reads:

“Protests: Suru Majboori Mein Kiye Thhey, Ab Maja Aa Raha Hai!!!”

Ali’s tweets supporting the protest and the cause didn’t go down well with the netizens, who are now trending the the hashtag #BoycottMirzapur2. Social media is filled with tweets and posts from angry and disappointed fans over Ali’s take on CAA NRC protests.
