5 Bollywood Celebrities You Didn’t Know Hold An MBA Degree

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, has frequently been in the public eye because of her family’s popularity. However, she has chosen a different path from the film industry, focusing on her own passions. In 2020, Navya earned a bachelor’s degree in digital technology and UX design from Fordham University in the United States. She also owns and runs Project Naveli, a nonprofit organization of her own. Navya also took an active position in her father’s family company.

Now, Navya recently revealed that she has been accepted into the two-year MBA Blended Post Graduate Program at IIM Ahmedabad. Navya shared the fantastic news on Instagram. She uploaded a snapshot of herself cutting a cake and enjoying her special day on her Instagram stories. She also thanked her teacher, who had provided her with tutoring on how to clear the exam.

Although her admission and eligibility have been the subject of speculation and doubt on social media, many are surprised to learn that many more Bollywood celebrities hold an MBA degree. So, let’s check out more about five of them:

1. John Abraham

John Abraham is an Indian actor, producer, and former model known for his work in Bollywood. He began his career as a model before making his acting debut in the film Jism (2003). His parts in action-packed movies like Dhoom (2004), Force (2011), and Madras Cafe (2013) helped him become well-known. John is also well-liked for his charitable endeavors and powerful on-screen persona.

However, few people are aware that he also has a solid educational background. Following his schooling at the Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, he moved to study at Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai. He subsequently obtained an MBA degree from NMIMS, Mumbai.

2. Kay Kay Menon

Renowned Indian actor Kay Kay Menon is renowned for his versatility and resilience in Bollywood. His performances in movies such as Sarkar (2005), Black Friday (2004), and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003) won him praise from critics. Menon is renowned for his ability to authentically portray a variety of roles and his dedication to his profession.

However, you were likely unaware of his extensive educational history as well. He completed his schooling at Pune’s St. Joseph High School in Khadki. Later, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics at Mumbai University. He then continued on to study for an MBA at the University of Pune’s Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA).

3. Randeep Hooda

Renowned Indian actor Randeep Hooda is well-known for his powerful and fascinating roles in Bollywood films. His profound devotion to his parts in movies like as Highway (2014), Sarbjit (2016), and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) earned him fame. In these films, he underwent notable bodily changes as part of his character development.

However, not many know that he is similarly committed to his studies as he is committed to his film career. He did his schooling at the boarding Motilal Nehru School of Sports (MNSS) in Rai, Haryana. Later on, he moved to R. K. Puram, Delhi Public School, in New Delhi. For further studies, Hooda relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where he pursued an MBA.

4. Siddharth

Indian actor Siddharth Suryanarayan mostly performs in films in the languages of Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. He initially became well-known when he co-starred in Rang De Basanti alongside Aamir Khan. In addition to his acting career, he has worked on movies as a playback vocalist, producer, and screenwriter. Siddharth has won three South Filmfare Awards.

In addition to his stellar acting career, Siddharth has an equally stellar educational background. After starting his studies at D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School in Madras, he attended Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Delhi. Later on, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Kirori Mal College in New Delhi. After that, he finished his MBA at Mumbai’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research.

5. Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan was renowned for his romantic and cheerful demeanor in the 90s. However, after his career declined because of multiple failures, he took a break from movies. However, after a break of over 14 years, the actor returned to the silver screen. Fardeen Khan is back in the news because of his part in the popular Netflix web series Heeramandi and his most recent release, Khel Khel Mein.

Nevertheless, not many people know that Fardeen initially earned his MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
