Barun Sobti is famous for his role in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon as Arnav Singh Raizada. Born in a Punjabi family Varun completed his schooling and college from Delhi. Before making his debut in the entertainment industry he has worked as an operation manager at Jindal Telecom for 7 years.

Barun made his Bollywood debut in 2014 through the film Main aur Mr Riight opposite Shenaz Treasury. In early 2017, Barun featured in a Hotstar Originals romantic web-series – Tanhaiyan opposite Surbhi Jyoti, in which he played the role of a Casanova.The actor is recently seen in new web show Asur which features on Voot.
