Arijit Singh also known as “King of playback songs” is a renowned singer and music composer in India today. Born on 25 April 1987, in Murshidabad (India) Arijit went to Raja Bijay Singh High School and later went to Sripat Singh College, an affiliate University of Kalyani, West Bengal. Three Hazari Brothers (Gurus) taught him music at the age of 3. When he is 9 years old, the government gave him a scholarship to practice as a vocalist in Indian classical music.

Arijit Singh started his career by participating in reality shows- Fame Gurukul (2005) and 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil (won the show). In 2006 he moved to Mumbai as a freelance, staying in a rented room. He build his recording studio and become a music producer and started making music for advertisements, news channels and radio stations.
In 2013, he gained popularity after the release of Tum Hi Ho and Chahun Main Ya Naa songs. He can sing in many languages and has a positive image and influence among people. Various singers portray himself as “great singer of this generation”. Indian media represent himself as “success made by a small-town boy.” Arijit is married Koel Roy, who is his childhood friend.
Arijit has received a National Award and six Filmfare Awards. Spotify declared him as the most streamed Indian artist of year 2020.
