Breaking his silence at last, Chahal dismissed the accusations, calling them “baseless and exhausting.” Speaking to Hindustan Times, he clarified,

“I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too.”

“Koi kuch bhi keh deta hai, and social media pe chal jata hai. 100 baatein chalti hain, but the truth is only one, and those who matter, know it.”
He said so by further adding that this would be the “last time” he talks about the subject. For him, the chapter is closed. At 35, his focus remains firmly on his personal growth and career. As he concluded,
