Not only this, but he even ventured into the field of politics by becoming a part of the Indian National Congress (INC). All was going well in his life; however, tragedy struck him on May 29, 2022. His assassination in broad daylight created shockwaves in the entire nation, particularly among his fans.

While Sidhu Moosewala’s death shocked everyone, not many know that he was about to get married soon before his death. There was a girl who started imagining her whole life with him. She was none other than his fiancée, Amandeep Kaur.
Yes, you have read it correctly. Sidhu Moosewala was about to tie the nuptial knot with his long-time girlfriend. The couple was engaged and looking forward to an eventual future together, but fate had other ideas. Nevertheless, their love story is nothing short of a fairy tale.

How did their love story get started?
Many online stories claim that Sidhu Moosewala and Amandeep Kaur first crossed paths in Canada. Amandeep is a working professional who has a permanent residence in Canada. Additionally, according to a TOI story, her father is a senior Akali Dal leader. But later on, her father became a close associate of Sidhu Moosewala.
The two first crossed paths at work. Amandeep used to help Sidhu as a PR assistant. They grew close over time and eventually fell in love. As their love became stronger over time, the couple made the decision to advance their relationship into a lifelong commitment.
The pair then became engaged in early 2022. They held their ceremony at Punjab’s Sangreri in the presence of close friends and family members. In an interview, Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, disclosed that the couple was set to get married shortly after the Punjab legislative elections. However, that day never came.

Amandeep swore to never get married after Sidhu Moosewala’s death.
In a sad turn of circumstances, Sidhu Moosewala passed away too soon. Several shooters shot him dead on May 29, close to his village. Criminal Goldy Brar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang subsequently took responsibility for his passing. This loss had a profound effect on Amandeep. She has decided to live in Mansa Village with Sidhu’s parents in remembrance of him.
Not only this, but also she has made a solemn pledge that she will never get married again or consider dating again. Amandeep’s choice is a testament to her steadfast devotion and love for Sidhu.

At the time of his death, Sidhu Moosewala was just 28 years old. Amandeep might also be almost the same age. Sidhu Moosewala left this world, but Amandeep could never remove him from her heart.
