It happened during the live stream when Riyan opened his YouTube to search for something. However, netizens were shocked to see what Riyan recently searched on YouTube. Within no time, the screenshots of his search history went viral on the internet and became a hot topic of discussion.

What does Riyan Parag have to say about his viral search history?
In an interview with City1016 Radio, Riyan Parag opened up about the incident involving his search history. He revealed that his search history was made public when he opened YouTube to play music. Speaking about this, Riyan said,

I finished the IPL, we were in Chennai, finished the match, got on a Discord call with my streaming team, and it got publicized now, but it happened before the IPL. One of the people in my Discord team tried to set me up before the IPL, but that got taken down very quickly. But then after the IPL, the hype was there, and I had a good season. I came and opened my stream; I didn’t have Spotify or Apple Music. Everything was deleted.
Furthermore, Riyan said that he did not realize it until the stream was over. However, he just decided to keep quiet about it up until this point because he felt it was exaggerated.
He added,
So I went on YouTube to put on music, and I searched for music. But I didn’t know what was happening, but once I did, the stream ended, I was like, Oh s**t! This happened.
Revealing about why he didn’t go public at first, Riyan Parag stated that he did not think it was necessary. He clarified that the issue had been exaggerated. He said,

It just got blown out of proportion. I didn’t think it was good enough a reason for me to go out publicly and clarify everything and no one would understand.

Riyan Parag set to make his awaited comeback after injury
Meanwhile, Riyan Parag is actively contributing to Indian cricket on multiple fronts. Beginning January 30, 2025, he led Assam in the Ranji Trophy after bouncing back from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the T20I series in South Africa and the home series against England.
In the 2024 IPL, Parag performed outstandingly for the Rajasthan Royals. He scored a total of 573 runs and smashed 33 sixes, ranking third overall and as the team’s top run scorer.
