Earlier on Saturday, Mumbai Police shared that Ranveer Allahbadia’s phone is switched off
On Saturday, reports surfaced that the police were unable to contact Ranveer as his phone remained switched off. This raised further speculation about his whereabouts. Many people had filed complaints against him, leading to an official probe. The situation intensified when police officials attempted to visit his home in Versova, only to find it locked.
Adding to the complexity of the case, Ranveer had earlier requested the Khar police to record his statement at his residence instead of at the police station. However, his request was denied.
As for the host of India’s Got Latent, Samay Raina, his lawyer informed the police that Samay was currently in the US and requested additional time for his appearance.
Following the complaint of BJP functionaries, Mumbai police have so far recorded statements from eight individuals, including Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchalani, and Ranveer Allahbadia’s manager. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cyber has summoned around 50 people, including participants of the show. Time will tell how things will proceed now.
