The government expects the Annual Pass to reduce congestion by regularizing access and clearing the need for repeated toll payments. It will also limit disputes at toll plazas and ensure faster movement for private vehicles across the highway grid. The initiative is a part of digitising and modernising road infrastructure services and enhancing user convenience on the national highway network.
The pass directly addresses toll-related long-standing complaints of toll plazas located within 60 km of each other.
What can you do now?
- If you regularly use the highways, set aside a Budget of ₹3,000 this August.

What is the definition of one trip? Please clarify: is a single toll counted as one trip, or is a 60 km journey on a national highway considered one trip, or is it defined by entry and exit on an NH?

How are you going to count the trips??
There are approximately 8 tolls between Hyderabad and Bangalore.
If a person travels from Hyderabad to Bengaluru….will you consider it 1 trip or 8 trips??

Sir, one Feedback if a user is unable to fully utilise the annual ₹3000 or 200 trips in a year then the remaining amount should be added on next recharge instead of discarding the remaining amount

The private car owner already pays for an exorbitant amount of tax to drive his vehicle on the highways.
Income tax on his earnings, GST on the car price, Road Tax to drive that car on road.
This annual pass shouldn’t be a thing in the first place for non commercial vehicles.…

Will this annual pass be valid on Mumbai-Pune eway, Atal Setu & Sea Link?
These 3 toll plazas are connected to the lives of each & every individual based between Mumbai & Pune. This pass should also be applicable on the above tolls.@narendramodi @nitin_gadkari @Dev_Fadnavis

Can you issue a free 1 year pass to designated VIPs, like mantris, judges, MP, MLA, DM, AF etc etc so that they don’t clog up toll lanes flashing ID cards? This will also stop misuse of the privilege by chelas chamchas etc.
